Long-form Videos, Shorts, Live Streams, Community Posts — each format is designed to reach your audience at every stage of their buying journey.

How to Create a YouTube Channel
A step-by-step guide — from creating your Google account to setting up a professional Brand Account, everything explained here.
Create a Google Account
Go to google.com and sign up for a new account. For businesses, we recommend creating a new, dedicated Google account specifically for your brand (e.g., [email protected]).
Sign In to YouTube
Once your Google account is ready, navigate to youtube.com or open the YouTube app. Click "Sign In" in the top right corner and log in using your new Google account credentials.
Create a Strong Password
Your password should be 8+ characters long — combine uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters (e.g. @, #, !). Never use your date of birth or name.
Create Your Channel
Click your profile icon (top right) → "Create a channel." To create a channel managed by multiple people, click "Use a business or other name" to set up a Brand Account.
Set Your Channel Name
Enter your desired Channel Name (your business or brand name) and click "Create." For Brand Accounts, the channel name is independent of your Google account's name.
Customise Your Channel
Go to "Customise channel." Add a profile photo (logo, 800x800px), banner image (2048x1152px), write your "About" description (add keywords), and link to your website and social media.
How to Log In and Keep Your Channel Secure
Login Process
- Open youtube.com or the YouTube app
- Click the "Sign In" button (top right)
- Enter your Google account email
- Enter your password and press "Next"
- Check "Stay signed in" on personal devices

Password Best Practices

- Combine uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols

Two-Factor Authentication
- Go to myaccount.google.com → Security
- Click "2-Step Verification" and set it up
- Use Google Authenticator app for best security
- Save your backup codes in a safe place
- A verification code is required at each new login
- Reduces the risk of a hacked account by 99%
Phishing Protection
- Beware of fake "YouTube Policy Violation" emails
- Official domain: @youtube.com or @google.com only
- Never click on suspicious links in comments or email
- Do not grant channel access to unknown tools or apps
- If suspicious activity is detected, change password immediately
- YouTube will never ask for your password via email
Account Recovery
- Forgot password? → Reset via Recovery Email/Phone
- Set up a recovery email at myaccount.google.com
- Keep both your phone number and backup email linked
- Account can be recovered using Google's identity verification
- Recovery links are valid for 24 hours only
- Always maintain multiple recovery methods
Channel Permissions
- YouTube Studio → Settings → Permissions

10 Golden Rules for YouTube Growth
Create Shorts Every Day
The YouTube algorithm is currently giving Shorts massive organic reach. Posting even one Short per day — just 30–60 seconds — can grow your subscriber count dramatically. Use trending audio and hook viewers in the first second.
Nail Your Thumbnail & Title
Your thumbnail and title determine 80% of whether someone clicks your video. Use bold contrasting text on thumbnails, show a human face with emotion, and write titles that create curiosity or promise a clear benefit.
Optimise for YouTube SEO
YouTube is a search engine. Use your main keyword in the video title, first 100 characters of description, and tags. Research keywords using YouTube's autocomplete — type your topic and see what people are searching for.
Hook Viewers in the First 30 Seconds
If viewers leave within 30 seconds, YouTube stops recommending your video. Open with your most compelling point — skip the long intro. Tell viewers exactly what they'll learn and why it matters to them right away.
Reply to Every Comment (First Hour)
Responding to every comment — especially within the first hour of posting — boosts your video's engagement signals. YouTube interprets high comment activity as a sign of a quality video and promotes it more widely.
Create Playlists Strategically
Group your videos into themed playlists — "SEO Tips," "Social Media Guide," "Client Results." Playlists increase session watch time by auto-playing related videos, which significantly boosts your channel's ranking in the algorithm.
Use End Screens & Cards
Add End Screens in the last 20 seconds of every video — link to your next video, playlist, or subscribe button. Use Info Cards mid-video to reference related content. These internal links keep viewers on your channel longer.
Track YouTube Analytics Weekly
Check YouTube Studio every Sunday — focus on Click-Through Rate (CTR), Average View Duration, and Impressions. If CTR is below 4%, redesign your thumbnail. If watch time drops at a certain point, tighten your editing there.
Cross-Promote on Other Platforms
Share every new video on Instagram (clip as a Reel), LinkedIn, WhatsApp status, and Facebook. Embed your videos in blog posts. The first 24–48 hours of traffic are critical — external views signal YouTube to push your video further.
Include a CTA in Every Video
Every video must end with a clear Call-to-Action — "Like this video if it helped you," "Subscribe for weekly tips," "Comment your biggest challenge below." A video without a CTA leaves subscribers and engagement on the table.
